It was sunday. Cold and sun day. Beautiful spotless day.

A suicide bomber didn't agree. Added red - blew himself up - took away the brilliance.

...minutes later Jenny posted me a note: "Are you ok?"

Jenny is Jewish. I met her while she was in Paris - working for Publicis. She is a committed girl. Very patriotic. Very dedicated. She left a parisian life - moved to Jerusalem. I remember talking to her about life in Israel and how suicide bombers were practically a part of life and how sometimes people see suspicious looking strangers as potential terrorists. At that time I must admit I didnt really relate. I do now.

...but the topic of terror is way beyond my height. It's Jenny's note I want to talk about. How personel experiences make us sensitive and caring. And how this natural reaction turns into a greatly appreciated smile on someone's face (in this case - mine)

There is always a carefully hidden lesson behind the visible. The visible is what you see on tv. People running in panic through the corridors of a hospital. And it's bitter. It's devastating. You can not help but hate. The visible is ugly - but the visible... is not always the truth !

The truth is called Jenny. The truth is the first thing you do. Not to feel anger or share hate but to make sure the person you care for... is ok !

I was angry when I watched the first cuts on tv. I was frustrated. I was sick. Then I read Jenny's note. I learnt. I healed.
